Be Braver
Towards the end of my workshops I guide people into a visualisation. They meet their 90 year old self. Someone who has lived a full and meaningful life.
Its always a potent encounter and, fascinatingly, when they come back and share what that future self said to them, it's almost always some version of the same thing:
Be braver. Trust yourself more. It all works out.
These are accomplished, thoughtful people. Restless for a more meaningful, more authentic life.
But they have allowed themselves to get entangled with the voice of the harbour. Unwelcome guests always wreak havoc. Welcome guests, on the other hand, have a way of filling the sails.
The next cohort of The Journey begins at the end of this month. Six months of going deeper: into what's holding you back and what's pulling you deeper.
As one participant said from the last cohort: “I feel much more hopeful now and willing to engage fully with life again. It was like a veil lifted and I could see everything in full definition.”
