Retreats

I run retreats for groups of individuals, each with their own theme, and in areas of inspiring natural beauty. More time and separation from our busy lives allows for a more meaningful connection with ourselves, others and the natural world. This is an investment into a deeper relationship with all of Life, which typically leads to more balance and harmony and consequently, a clearer path forward.

I also take small groups and individuals on adventures in nature, with no technology, that can last anywhere from half a day to ten days. Stripped back to their simplest form these adventures are designed to expand your perspectives, cultivate trust in Life and renew your appreciation of what is possible.

There is no set process. Adventures are designed with you and in accordance with what emerges from a wider programme of consistent and regular coaching sessions.

One of the toughest things I ever put myself through... deeply profound and life changing .. Hamish is an amazing facilitator... applying the most gentle yet tough love while softly steering me towards one breakthrough after another.
— Norman Crowley - Group CEO at Cool Planet
My husband and I did a retreat with Hamish. It was in an amazing location and was beautifully curated. It was deeply thought provoking and, to be honest, life changing. Hamish is a very competent mentor and led the retreat with wisdom, compassion and integrity. I cannot recommend this retreat highly enough for anyone who wants to delve deeper into the healing power of nature.
— ANNE LALOR - FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR AT CROWLEY CARBON
I had the most incredible experience and treasured the gift of spending time with Hamish. His passion for nature; along with his gentle wisdom and deep experience of journeying into wilderness was very inspiring to me. I had not realised that Mother Nature was such a strong healer, teacher and holder.
— Gavin Hughes - Partner at Sarsen
Those hours with nature put a mirror to myself that I’d been avoiding for months. That moment at the top of the mountain and our following debrief made me see positivity and understand myself in a way that I’ve never known.
— Max Richardson - Entrepreneur
For my birthday gathering in Somerset, Hamish created a two-hour nature-based meditation that was thoughtful and meaningful but also accessible to those who’ve never taken part in retreats or reflections like this. It was gentle, yet really touching for a small group of all ages and personality types, and beautifully guided with the perfectly chosen poem that left everyone feeling uplifted.
